Social Value Matters is an annual conference organized by Social Value International (SVI) in collaboration with our networks around the world. Our members share a common goal: to change the way society accounts for value.

The environmental world and social systems we depend upon are facing existential crises. Never have the threats to the planet, and the people and other species that inhabit it been so clear and immediate. Much of this is the consequence of how the world accounts for value – what we include in our accounts of value and how we use this to make decisions.

By bringing together investors, businesses, non-profits, social enterprises, practitioners, public sector bodies, evaluators, academics, policymakers, standard-setting bodies, accountants from across the world, Social Value Matters is cultivating a growing consensus about how we account for value, such that we address inequality, reduce climate change and increase well being across the planet.

The decade of UN SDG action is now. Join us for compelling, thought-provoking and challenging global conversations that will direct us toward a truly sustainable world!
